Turned step for easier digging!

The Razor-Back® Round-Point Closed-Back Shovel features a 14-gauge steel blade. The blade measures 8-3/4 inches in width and 11 inches in length. This head attaches to a 48-inch hardwood handle via an 11-inch extended socket. A dual-rivet design reduces the likelihood of handle breakage.

The Razor-Back® Round-Point Closed-Back Shovel is perfect for digging in hard, rocky soil. The closed-back design eliminates soil buildup when digging. A forward-turned step provides increased control.

Best shovel ever made MAF from NH wrote June 25, 2016

Best shovel ever made, stands a lot of punishment for years. We are Landscape Construction in New England coastal area and rocky soil is what we have. We get 3 to 4 years of heavy use. The closed back and guage of steel not to mention shank design. Great tool been using them for decades.
