This versatile saw-tooth shovel blade design slices through rooted, rocky, compact soil and ice. An ideal tool for tough digging conditions. The Super Shovel utilizes a 14 gauge, high carbon steel blade measuring 9" wide by 11". This open back blade features turned steps for secure foot placement while digging. Equipped with a 48" straight PowerCore fiberglass handle. The PowerCore handle features a solid fiberglass compression rod that extends from the shank of the shovel blade, 13" into the handle, for optimal strength at this critical stress point. The PowerCore is encased in a 0.130" thick wall Safety Yellow, fiberglass tube that is robust yet light weight. Fastened together with the rivet-less PermaGrip Steel Collar for a strong head-to-handle connection. This unique tool is finished with a comfortable ProGrip, double-wall, non-slip grip.
