I like the sturdy feel of the 21 ft pole when it is extended, and how sharp the saw is. The hook on the blade and cutter at the base of the blade are great.

This thing is truly awesome! Well worth the money. A little on the heavy side but expected for a 21' pole

Impressive Saw Lee from VT wrote November 11, 2017

This is a very well made pole saw. The blade is superb, and the long telescopic pole is rigid, operates smoothly, and locks securely. The only thing I found a bit odd is that you need to extend the pole on the ground and then raise it. The way it is designed, you cannot raise the top section first, and then decide to extend the next section to reach higher. The sections extend from the base first, and if you wish to reach higher you must lay the saw down and raise the next section. It's fine, but seems a bit counter-intuitive at first.

Gets to branches never accessible before. Extremely sharp and easy to use. No need for dangerous ladders.

Silky Hayauchi Pole Saw Nick P from MA wrote November 20, 2011

While expensive this saw is far superior to the several American made pole saws I have bought over the years at {local store}. The blade was super sharp allowing me to cut bigger branches more quickly and with less effort, working overhead with you arms for a long period is hard to do, but much easier with this saw. Also the positive locking mechanisms worked much better and were more secure than other saws allowing a quick and secure change from one length to another and this saw is longer than any other one I saw in your catalog.
