adequate but not better than my old Corona

Ann Marie from MD wrote (July 02, 2017):

I bought this folding saw because a professional gardener mentioned the Silky brand.....and because my red handled (and one-half the price) Corona blade was dull, with no option but Amazon for replacement blades. I don't like to buy from Amazon so I thought I'd try this little saw. The blade was okay but what bothers me is that the locking mechanism does not hold securely. At first I thought it was a one time deal, but no, it has continued to happen as I use the saw. So, not a five star item.

    Super Saw

This is an excellent small pruning saw, does not bind up and usually cuts 1/2" limbs w/ 1 stroke. Great quality folding saw.

Wish I'd bought this years ago

Susan from RI wrote (June 13, 2016):

This is fantastic for pruning. I read recently that much of the light pruning I do should NOT be done with loppers, but rather with a saw. Bought this saw, love it.

    A Wonderful Saw!

Jami B. from VA wrote (May 22, 2013):

As a 64-year-old, fairly petite woman who prunes large bushes and small trees, I wanted something that didn't require a lot of effort or strength, and this was as good as I'd hoped it would be. Even cutting 7" diameter limbs off the apple tree was an absolute breeze.

I bought this saw (actually two) after using my brother's saw. He is a certified arborist and has one at work and one at home. We own some property and camp in the winter. Great saw.
