A friend let me use his saw while we were doing some volunteer work at our church. I was amazed at how well it cut. I had to get one for myself.
Love this saw, it has made my life’s work and hobby much easier. Be sure to read instructions on how to use it and care for the blade.
I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE OLDER MODEL. THE LARGER TEETH MAKE IT HARDER TO MAKE A CUT ESPECIALLY IF THE LIMB YOU ARE CUTTING IS FLEXIBLE.
The Silky Zubat Pruning Saw lives up to it's name. It has a high quality(sharp) blade and good handle grip. Cuts branches as expected. Length is dependent on task, but fills my need exactly. Only negative; scabbard doesn't have a strap that allows securing to leg when climbing in trees.
If you do a lot of cutting during a normal day or week, it is definitely worth buying a high quality saw and this is the best out there. I do tree work and the faster the job gets done, the less stress on my body. I have cheapo folding saws for my maintenance crews who need to make the occasional pruning cut. But when I send a crew out that will be pruning all or most of the day, they get the good stuff. You will not be disappointed with this saw. Just wish replacement blades were a little more affordable.
