Good for hauling water around

Santa Cruz Gardener from CA wrote (July 03, 2018):

The good: The cart is well-balanced so you can haul water around your property. I carry a small bucket to bail out the last of the water in the tub & a 2.5 gallon watering can. The gravity-feed hose works, but it is a little awkward to use, so I fill my watering can and hand water my plants, and then move to the next section and refill the watering can. While this may seem redundant, my hips no longer ache from carrying a couple watering cans back and forth on my property. Overall I would give it 4.5 stars. The not-so-good: Someone came up with a pretty good idea and went about fabricating the parts. Unfortunately, they didn't put much thought into packaging. The nuts and bolts and small pieces were carefully sealed in plastic (great), except apparently they forgot to put 1 nut/bolt set in the sealed plastic so they literally threw it in the box along with the other parts. A few pieces were wrapped in cardboard, but the shipping box was flimsy and had holes in it when it arrived, which explains why I found 1 "loose" bolt at the bottom of the box and was missing a nut. Off to the hardware store for a nut.... The instructions were not so great. I had a friend who is good at putting things together (he is a carpenter) and he had trouble figuring it out (he had to look it up online to see an image of the assembled cart (you might add an image on the instructions). A YouTube video of how to put it together would help. I am happy with the cart but I do worry that the ring that clamps the tub lid down may break. I am hoping that I can order a replacement if that happens. And using some kind of vinyl tape to help keep the hose connected to the tub worries me a bit because tape + water often fails, but I guess I can just tape it again.

As advertized

Exactly as described , was able to assemble it myself. Much better than pulling a wagon full of plastic juice bottles full of slashing water.

Functional and an improvement suggestion

Max from AZ wrote (September 03, 2016):

Easily assembled, easy to use to water plants/vegetation at a level below the water level in the barrel. Could be more functional & adaptable to hauling water if a plug were provided for the bottom of the barrel in the opening where the hose attaches. Great to have the option of flat free wheels.
