Simply said, this is by far the BEST trowel available. I have used this for years, always keeping two as some get "planted"! I buy them for gifts for everyone I know who digs in the dirt. I would never be without at least one....

If you don't have this trowel you have wasted your money and time. This is a heavy (in a good way) trowel that gets the job done. You've got work to do, so get on with it. Buy this trowel and you'll be finished faster. Buy 1 for your best friend when you order- they'll love you forever.

Gardening in Clay Soil

I can not tell you how many garden tools that I have broken or bent working in our Oklahoma Clay Soil. Finding a hand trowel that holds up to our soil is hard to find. This Steel Nursery Trowel works, doesn't bend, and doesn't break. You will have it the rest of your life!!!

Best Trowel Available

Started using these trowels about twenty years ago when teaching Horticulture at an L.A. high school. Never had one bend, break, or lose it's edge. Still use them on my own acreage now that I'm retired. Excellent, reliable tool.

As a professional landscaper I am always digging. Often I need to perform repairs on irrigation systems in tight areas with lots of hard soil and roots. This is the tool that gets it done!

Simply the best. Compact, sturdy. In Texas dirt it works! This is my second purchase for same item - cried when I lost the first one after 16 years.

handy tool

I love this little trowel. It has good weight, feels very sturdy and we put it to the test digging up small bushes, etc. It is very well made and we expect to have it for a long time. The only drawback possibly is that I lost it in the grass a couple of times so had to paint the handle red. Otherwise it is a great buy.

This is a well balanced, heavy duty trowel, will not bend in hard soils. The downside is it is made in China not USA. The wood handle is not secured properly and is not tight.

Best Design of Any Trowel

wrote ():

My grandson lost my old trowel. I needed a replacement. I purchased this trowel and I unwrapped it the day I came to plant bulbs. It works great. The wooden handle is very comfortable. It fits my artheritic hand comfortablely. The paint coating releases my dirt and it is easy to clean up.

Best trowel anywhere

wrote ():

Over the years I have probably purchased a dozen of these trowels as gifts, because this is the last trowel you'll ever need. It's long, so that you can get good leverage. It's strong, so it can deal with harder soils that would bend other trowels. It's hefty, so that you can use it on edge to break up soil clumps. I keep multiples in my workspace because despite all the other tools I have, this is the one trowel I really WANT to use.

This trowel is made in CHINA. Handel wiggles slightly not bad quality but disappointed.

After you purchase a Nursery Trowel, there is no need to ever purchase another trowel in your lifetime. I own and cherish the Nursery Trowel I inherited from my Gardening Grandmother. This Nursery Trowel is strongly made, a joy to use and the best Housewarming gift ever!
