    FAQ

anchor pins and weed fabric wrote

pins are good and hold well + rolls of weed fabric are always short 250 foot. rolls are not 250 feet ranging from 37 feet short to 2 feet short. Customer service is good and they always put it right but it is a pain if your rows are short and require extra joins

Like, most store carry the light ones and bend easily.

Good Anchor Pins for a good price. wrote

These are darned hand pins. I've used them for netting, frost blanket, shrub shelters, & to protect plants from getting stomped by my big feet.

Wow - Great product! wrote

I wish we would have discovered these a long time ago. We used to buy the shorter, thinner ones at the big-box stores. But they didn't perform very well and bent very, very easily. These are heavy-duty. You can use a mallet to get them into the ground and they don't bend (unless you hit a rock or something). They are long, so they don't come up like the shorter ones tend to do. We're buying more for more projects around the yard - they're fantastic to have on hand. And A.M. Leonard has the best prices on these I've found anywhere.

Highly recommend wrote

I bought the 500 pack to pin weed blocking cloth under a gravel walk. The weed cloth I use is thick, nursery quality, not big box store stuff. Most pins are too flimsy to use, and they're also ridiculously expensive. These are solid--they go right through overlapping weed cloth and don't bend under my hammer's pressure. Excellent value!
