Product worked well even in wet soil , held fast! Will use again when we have the opportunity.
very clean and matches the clean installation of new expensive landscape. I liked the rating system. I knew that I was using [a] product that was properly rated in strenght.
We have been using duckbill anchors for years to hold fisheries structures (large trees and rootwads)in place. During low water times we place large structures in areas where no fish cover exists and use multiple size 88 duckbills to anchor in place. As the water rises these wood structures see lots of wave action until submerged. We have had a very small percentage fail. These work easiest in clear substrates , but we have had success in cobble filled lake banks as well, just get the youngest crewmembers to work the sledge hammer!
I bought a dozen 4.6 oz duckbills as anchors for scour chains to measure scour/deposition in river beds.(Rosgen 2004). This is for a river restoration project. I removed the attached wires and attached them to temperature sensors as anchor wires. Reasonable price, fast and friendly service.
