Its core is built of high tenacity nylon that provides great energy absorption. This absorption equates to higher load capacities than ropes of similar diameters. The cover is double braided polyester and includes a Maxijacket coating for excellent abrasion resistance. Rope weight per 100ft is 7.6lbs for 1/2 inch; 13.3 lbs for 5/8 inch; 16.8 lbs for 3/4 inch. Average tensile/working load is 10,500 lbs/1,050 lbs for 1/2 inch; 18,000 lbs/1,800 lbs for 5/8 inch; 23,000 lbs/2,300 lbs for 3/4 inch.
