QUESTION: What is a Cut and Hold head? ANSWER: Plastic holding devices on side of the blades which hold the branch during cutting and after until handle is released. Allowing user to control branch and pull from tree. These plastic devices can be removed to increase the cutting capacity from 1/4" to 1/2". QUESTION: Are blades on the LRP4 pruners replaceable as individual cut blade (upper blade) and individual hook blade (lower blade)? ANSWER: No, they must be purchased as a whole cutting head. The part number is 40530BL. It can also be put on older model TR163 and TR165 (when we say older, we mean models that do not have the red plastic "triangle" on the end).
