The Granddaddy of Clearing Tools!

Also known as a Kaiser blade, brush axe, or sling blade. A versatile forestry and clearing tool designed to be used on growth up to 2 in. in diameter. Clear tall grasses, unwanted trees, and thick brush with swift swings of this tool. The weight of the tool is comprised in the tool head and blade, carrying the inertia of the swinging motion needed to cut through brush.
Equipped with a sturdy 40" long American Hickory handle, ergonomically shaped for a variety of hand positions. The 16" long blade is made of high carbon hot-rolled American strip steel. The replaceable blade is oil quenched for uniform hardness and straightness. The blade edge is machine ground for a razor sharp edge. Note that a new tool will come with the entire blade and edge painted, to prevent rust. The edge is virtually self sharpening throughout use, or can be lightly filed to remove paint, reveal and maintain the sharp edge. Made in the USA! Ship wt. 6lb.
